How and why to create a challenge for your friends?

To create and run a challenge requires 3 easy to understand and simple to execute steps:

  1. Invite and prepare participants to create a challenge

  2. Share one task and meditation per day to run your challenge

  3. Moderation of your challenge

1. Invite and prepare participants to create a challenge

Find some friends, family members, and colleges, for whom this challenge might be a blessing. Tell or write to them that you participate in an abundance challenge. Share your experience, why you are participating, and explain, why they should join as well. Finally ask them, if they want to join, too.

To run it, you got two choices:

Either, you run your challenge publicly by sharing the posts on

  • your personal Facebook page
  • in twitter
  • on your webpage
  • or any other social media platform of your choice. Choose the one you are the most familiar with!

Benefits: No effort to acquire participants, reaching a bigger number of people.
Drawbacks: No privacy of the communication between the participants, and due to that less engagement.
Effort: 30 minutes, only once for the initialization

Or, you can create a group to run your challenge in a

  • Facebook group
  • Email group
  • Slag
  • WhatsApp group
  • or any other social media platform of your choice.

and add your interested friends to it.

Benefits: Good privacy of the communication, and due to that better engagement.
Drawbacks: Some effort to acquire participants, reaching a smaller number of people.
Effort: 1-3 hours, only once for the initialization

Sharing your first posts to create your challenge

To engage participants you might tell them about their benefits. You can share the benefits just by sharing the blue text for example like this (you are welcome to copy – and modify – this text).

Effort: 3-6 minutes each day.
Tip: If run it in a Facebook group, you can schedule the posts. All in one go, which will take about 1 hour and needs to be done only once. Then it runs automatically!

3. Moderation of your challenge

That is pretty individual to you, how much you want to interact with your participants. Since you most likely will start with friends, that should be a pretty easy and natural communication for you. Optionally you may want to add individualized introduction sentence like this:

  • Have a wonderful Mon/Tues/…/Sunday morning, …
  • Have a good start in the new day/week/month/year! …
  • I had a wonderful sleep last night, I hope you too!?! …
  • Did you see the XYZ show yesterday evening? What a pleasure to see. Anyway, let’s continue with our abundance challenge. …
  • Today is our first/last day of the challenge. ….
  • You are doing great so far, let’s keep on going with our abundance challenge. …

to give it your personal character. Because it is YOUR challenge, so it should be your authentic voice speaking/writing to your participants.
