As a part of the growth experience, one of the best things we can do, is feel gratitude.

One of the things we have done at the Chopra Center, as part of the Chopra Foundation research, is that we’ve seen at a very fundamental level,

What happens when you experience gratitude:

So people who have experienced gratitude, their inflammatory markers of cytokines in the blood go down. And the inflammation in the body goes down. Now we know for example, that inflammatory is the common factor, in almost 95% of chronic diseases. Only 5% of diseases related to gene mutations are fully penetrated. The rest are infuenced bys lifestyle. Including the

  • quality of your sleep,
  • weather you meditate,
  • how you manage your stress,
  • how much you move,
  • mind-body coordination,
  • practices like yoga, and
  • breathing

which stimulates the vagus nerve. And allow your parasympathetic nervous, system which is associated with self healing, to come into the forefront, rather than allow your sympathetic nervous system to always be on thrive. Which of course causes inflammation.

Some movement, yoga, breathing, these are very important modalities. And then of course, it’s also the quality of your emotions. If you’re experiencing:

  • love,
  • compassion,
  • joy,
  • peace of mind,
  • equanimity

your body is in the mode of self regulation and self healing. Add to that gratitude!

Gratitude is the easiest way to trigger the healing response.

And what we call homeostasis of self-regulation. Gratitude also opens up your heart. And is the window to abundance consciousness.

Because when you’re grateful for what you already have, it welcomes other things into your life. And abundance consciousness is the basis of wealth consciousness.

Wealth is not just money.Wealth is

The Ability to Generate Abundance

in all aspects of your life. That includes:

  • love, 
  • and relationships,
  • with professional colleagues,
  • relationship with society,
  • relationship with, that which we called the ecosystem, forces of nature,
  • and relationship ultimately with the universe.

Opening our heart to our deeper core consciousness, which we call the soul, is how we create abundance consciousness. Which allowes the flow of all things that are evolutionary in our life. Gratitude is very important. And of course in JAYO we also nurish

Your Morning Gratitude Challenge – Gratitude Meditation Challenge

From today we start to work towards your morning gratitude. You’re aiming to receive your 1st lesson. This will be your day 1 task and therefore the gift will be a lovely meditation from Deepak Chopra. In order to remind you, I am going to send you each day one task in the morning. Then you got twenty-four hours to complete the task. Are you in?

“I am providing the sound files because your ear is your emotional interface. You will realize that very quickly when you hear the computer voice. It sounds a bit metallic, because I reduced it to the lowest resolution, to decrease data volume and download time for you. And if there is an initial dislike of the sound of the voice, this will go away after one or two minutes.  In fact, we are learning with emotions up to 20 times faster than learning dry facts. Listening lets you memorize 4 to 5 times more than reading. Reading and listening at the same time about 7 times faster than reading alone. And if you do something, like taking your thinking time and writing down the answers, making an action plan, and execute the first step, you can boost it up to learning about 20 times more, compared to reading only.

So, I strongly recommend to hear and read at the same time AND do the exercises. To make the best use and get the best result out of this program.”

The Levels of Financial Freedom

Financial Protection



Absolute freedom

1 Financial Protection

  • The Financial Protection covers your minimum cost of living (food, rent, health insurance, transport, information e.g. € 1,500) for 3-6 months, depending on your well-being = € 4,500-9,000
  • Investment type: immediately available, cash, checking account, overnight money,
  • This money shall never be touched, the best thing is, give it to a friend, so that you need to ask someone to release it – in an urgent emergency only.

The goal of Financial Protection:

This solves 95% of all financial problems!

2 Financial Security

  • Pays minimum living expenses from the interest
  • Example calculation: 120 * you monthly living expenses of 1,500 € = 180,000 € (= 20 to 40 times of your financial protection)
  • Investment style: relatively safe long-term investments, ETFs with an average long-term profit expectation of 8% per year

Goal: If all earnings break away, you can survive on it maintaining a frugal lifestyle.

3 Financial freedom

  • Pay your dreams from the interest
  • For example 120 * of the monthly costs of a good lifestyle for € 3,000 a month = € 360,000 (= 40 to 80 times of your financial protection)
  • Investment style: diversified, relatively secure long-term investments, ETFs with a profit expectation of 8-12% per year. Only the profits that go beyond your private withdrawal are invested in assets with higher profit expectations (and risk) of 12-15% per year.

Goal: You work because you chose too, not because you have too. If all other income breaks away, you can live comfortably on a high standard on the interest of your assets, without touching the substance of your assets.

4 Absolute Financial Freedom

  • Pay your utopian dreams from the interest
  • Example: 80 * the monthly costs of your good dream life for € 15,000 a month = € 12,000,000 (= 300 to 600 times of your financial protection)
  • Investment form: Investments with higher profit expectations of 15-20% per year and only from their profits short-term transactions with an even higher chance of over 20%. In return, you can get over the associated risk.

Goal: You can live an extravagant life in pure luxury on less than the interest of your assets, without touching the substance. So you are free to contribute substantially for charity.

What does it take?

Only after the money for financial protection is put aside, what is leftover gets saved for financial security. And only when this is achieved, additional money is used to save for freedom. Finally, what is leftover now, gets invested for absolute freedom.

How to achieve your financial protection and beyond?


This works well for a short time, but discipline alone always fails in the long run.

You need pain and pleasure!

With a monthly overview of your assets and their growth, you can get the fun you need. If things go wrong, you have to make painful swabs somewhere and commit yourself to them. Have someone else watch over you, who has the authority to “torture you”. And chose someone who is not a friend, rather a coach or mentor. Because friends are willing to let you get away without discipline, just to maintain your friendship.


Are you feeling bad if collecting money beyond your financial protection?

This is a common problem, what sabotages your growth! Noone ever got enlightened when he had to fight for his daily survival. Living security or even freedom gives you all the time and lets you focus on your spiritual development.

The solution is so simple

Make it a habit to contribute a part of your income to charity. Right from the beginning of your journey to financial security. It is not about the amount (for the effect it does to you – it makes of cause a difference to the organization you are donating for). It is to establish a habit to show your gratitude for it. Donate a certain percentage like 1, 2, 5, of 10% of your income, right after you got your paycheck! If you are donating, you feel good about the money you save for your financial security and far, far, far beyond!

Prepare to apply your learnings by planing the use of your resources. How to utilize and allocate your time, energy, assets. And finally building strategic reserves for flexibility. A backup plan, support structures, and tactics. So, I think you understand, it needs hardworking, discipline, knowledge and sharpens your unique capabilities. Knowing your weaknesses and making them irrelevant. To develop yourself internally to handle the external circumstances of life. It allows being highly flexible in the market place.

Focus – How to Apply Your Learnings Effectively

Concentrate your forces onto the most effective point. That’s why you want to target the weakest point to get the breakthrough easiest possible. Everyone has limited resources. Or did we overcome this with the abundance challenge already? However, it is necessary to create effectiveness in using it.

Detailed execution is to move disciplined in the direction of your target. It takes years to become a good executor to apply your learnings. Due to that, you may want to watch the video:

Adaptability means to analyze the current situation. And how it is different from what you expected. Apply the appropriate tactics for the always-changing environment. Review, overthink and rewrite the plan. Because your plan is a tool, not your master. Do it every year, month, week, and if necessary every day. Don’t stick to your business plan if the situation has changed or you learned something new. So, experiment with what works for you in the market place. Analyze and adapt, learn and improve. Expect and accept that the situation will always change.

Study of principles that are general of living, business, and self-development. Improve your understanding of psychology and how the mind works. This knowledge is thousands of years old. Contemplate it deeply, combining multiple sources, and think how to apply them. Don’t look for a quick fix, but rather a deep understanding and solid implementation into your subconscious mind.
