Join the Bali Marathon 2023 training:
The Maybank Marathon 2023 preparation runs take place every Tuesday and Friday morning. The time and the date may vary due to weather and tide conditions. The time and the date will be announced in the WhatsApp group.
The location may vary due to weather and tide conditions. The meeting point and start location will be announced in the WhatsApp group.
Every Tuesday: Beach run, mostly starting in front of Fins Club, Berawa, Bali
Each Friday: Street run, mostly starting at the Gaja Mina Statue, Pererenan, Bali
Runners meet at 6:30 a.m. or 6:25 for a short warm-up and soft stretching exercise.
Participation in the training runs is free of charge. Just turn up, well-hydrated, and in a good mood.
- If you want to do some warm-up and soft stretching before the run, arrive 5 minutes earlier, at 6:25 a.m.
- Running with ease and pleasure creates a healthy growth impulse.
- Shower and enjoy a subsequent drop in the waves and a coconut.

The UDARA BEACH BOOTCAMP with Kirk Douglas starts at 6:45 a.m. EVERY MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY & SATURDAY
This training is a high-energy total body workout utilizing natural materials, mixed with functional movements. Feel the sand beneath your hands and feet as you raise your adrenaline. Bring out your inner athlete, working together as a team and in pairs, while enjoying the beauty of the ocean and fresh sea breeze.
Participation in the Udara beach boot camp is free of charge. Just turn up, well-hydrated, and in a good mood.
Kirk Douglas is an advanced master coach and trainer who specializes in rehabilitation, flexibility, mobility, postural alignment, functionality & movement as well as strength & conditioning. He is also a professional Optimum Nutrition coach, helping people transform their lives. He has more than 30 years of coaching experience with a variety of 28 different forms of classes in London, Canary.
I like to join I’m interested but I’m not sure gonna strong enough I’m running 2/3km already feel bad how I can do marathon 😢
If you can run 2 to 3 km easy and you build the distance up slowly, you should be able to go for a 10 km race within 2 months, with 2-3 training runs a week. But increase intensity and distance slowly. Du to the fact, that it is only 3 weeks to go for the marathon, I wouldn’t suggest trying that.
