Deeprak Chopra 21 Day Abundance Meditation Challenge

Law of Kama

Day 10 for Your Abundance Challenge – The Law of Karma

DAY 10: The Law of Karma

First of all, we want to understand the concept of the law of karma. And what it means to you as an entrepreneur:

Law of Karma For Confeneurs = Conscious Female Entrepreneurs

To get in a creative mood for today’s task – have a look at Jenny’s thoughts about it in this post, then come back to this page and continue with task 10:

Task 10:

Share this link with the members of your challenge!
https://vitality4happiness.com/abundance-challenge-day-5/

Done? OK! Then go for this: Out of the 5 limiting-believes, you’ve listed yesterday in task 9, choose the 2 ones which you want to work today. Write what to do for each of those two “limiting believes” to improve your way of thinking about them. And how you can utilize your strengths for it. Then put it into practice …

For example, I chose, among my shortcomings: Judgment of other people.
So, I gave myself the task of being present to myself and not to judge, but also not to feel judged by others, even if I feel judged. I neither will waste my valuable energy thinking about what others do, nor what they think. Instead, I want to spend my thinking time on myself, on my development, to feed my mental growth. Not easy, but possible!

And finally, write down 5 things you are grateful for:

  1. I am grateful for …, because …
  2. I am grateful for …, because …
  3. And I am grateful for …, because …
  4. Further, I am grateful for …, because …
  5. Finally, I am grateful for …, because …

The Abundance Challenge task of today must be done by this time tomorrow!

Nyepy - Bali Day of Silence 2020

This Was Nyepi 2020 – Bali Day of Silence

This was Nyepi Day 2020

With credits to my friend William, who shared these beautiful pictures and lines about Nyepi 2020:

“On the Island of the Gods, we are on the cusp between the Northwest and the Southeast monsoons. It still rains frequently but the winds are shifting to the eastern quadrants. Both in the early dawn and during the aftermath of sunset the sky regularly fills with glorious color.

This was Nyepi 2020 - Bali Day of Silence

On Thursday morning the surf was up so this week you will again find a series of surf shots. On the way back from the Surungan lefthander I ran into my friend Violet, who was taking her pack of dogs for a walk in the company of her Russian friend Dasha.  On Friday as the sun was about to cross the equator it rained at dawn and that is why for the March equinox you just find a single shot of the sunset.

During the days preceding Nyepi, the Balinese must perform their Melasti purification ceremonies and in normal years you find thousands of people who walk down from the Bali heartlands in order to pray together on the shoreline. These rituals are dedicated to Sanghyang Widhi Wasa, the supreme god of Balinese Hinduism and their purpose is to bring the realm of human activities in harmony with the universe. However, in this special year, the Bali Governor decreed that such mass gatherings were prohibited and Melasti proceedings were only allowed for the people who actually live near the beach. This explains a selection of twelve pictures that I took on Sunday when the villagers of Seseh performed their Melasti duties on the waterfront. In normal years the old fool mingles in the crowd to catch the atmosphere in wide-angle reality but this time the pictures were taken at a safe distance with my telephoto lens.

The pretty girl of the week was Kate from Moscow admiring the Monday dawn and the last three pictures were taken Tuesday. They show the sky at dawn, the Seseh Ogo-ogo that was prohibited from being paraded this year and the last sunset before Nyepi.

The Bali Day of Silence falls on the new moon closest to the equinox, either before or after and today the island has its annual lock-down and turns into a ghost town. On the roads of Bali, there will not be a soul to be seen, nor a voice to be heard. Everyone will stay inside and keep quiet. The idea behind Nyepi is to ingeniously fool all evil spirits into thinking that all people have left the island. With no humans around to bug, they will wander off to other islands. So even the airport is closed and all tourists must remain within their hotel. No lights may be lit in the evening.

Although it is the only day of the year I cannot go on a beach walk, I love Nyepi. It is a unique time for introspection and after dark, it is the very best time in the whole year for stargazing. In the dark of the moon and the absence of the light pollution of modern civilization, we have the opportunity to witness how the ancients saw the heavens. You will find my album for the Balinese New Year here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/y94pXnGxMJigFMRi6

It will start at 6:00 a. m. * on Wednesday, March 25, 2020
and ends at 6:00 a. m. * on Thursday, March 26, 2020

Nyepi is the Balinese New Year. And it is very different than in the western world. Because Bali goes 24 hours offline.

Most cultures celebrate New Year with fireworks and a lot of parties, alcohol, and a lot of noise. The Balinese call the Hindu Day of Silence “Nyepi”. The intention of Nyepi is, to meditate and getting quiet inside.

  • Nyepy - Bali Day of Silence 2020It is even forbidden to going on the street, no music, no fires, no electric light …
  • Bali Goes 24 Hours Offline on, Wed. March 25th, 2020 from 6 a. m. until Thu., March 26th, 2020 at 6 a. m. *. So don’t worry if your friends in Bali are not responding to your instant messaging.
  • And all shops and restaurants will be closed, only hotels provide basic services to their guests.
  • Further, the Airport is out of service for 23 hours on March 25 from 6:00 a. m.* and will be served again on March 26, 2020, at 05:00 a. m. *.

* All times are in WITA, Central Indonesia Time, Bali, Perth, Singapore time zone.

I am really looking forward to this quiet and peaceful Nyepi day 2020 in Bali. Because I will enjoy my silent day for
