    I didn’t know that self discipline is a form of self love but it makes total sense. Over the years I have developed a few disciplines that have strengthen my character in such a way that many things other people find hard to do, I do with ease.
    There are things like never going to bed without flossing my teeth and brushing them afterwards, and never going to bed with make on my face… They seem nothing hard to do and that’s why they are also so easy not to do. Many people get in bed and then realise they haven’t done one of these things but most times they can’t be bother to get out of bed and do it, especially if they had a late night, it’s cold and feels so much cozier in bed. Have this ever happened to you?
    But I also realised that, in order to be able to do what I have to do whether I feel like it or not, I have to, from time to time come up with new disciplines. So now I create my own little rituals. I would make myself do something out of my comfort zone. Usually simple things that are not a big deal hence it is harder to build the habit of doing them regardless.
    I have recently started writing My Daily Wins (as I call the things I achieve in a day) and send them to Klaus. This practice makes me feel really good because I go to sleep thinking of all the positive things I got done on the day. This means I have to recall what went well during the day which gives me a feeling of satisfaction. Writing them down is the discipline and sending them to Klaus meets the accountability aspect. Not to mention that invariably I wake up in a great mood the next day.
    So I’d like to take this opportunity to encourage you to do something similar. It will boost your self steem and you will feel more motivated. You want to find reasons to pull you in doing what you want, so you don’t have to push yourself, and this is a great way to get started.
