Involve people who are close to you
I read about a politician: "He changed, changed again and again, and that caused everything possible except trust." The author went on to write: “Whoever reinvents himself risks not being taken seriously. Because where a lot is possible, you can rely on very little.”
Do you know what I thought as I read this: Ouch! How can one be so selfish and insist that the other doesn't change just so that he "remains reliably the same"? This desire to pigeonhole the other may be understandable. Such drawers are a convenient thing. And woe then, a person changes. Woe he dares to step out of this box.
If you work with this package, no matter where you are at the moment, you will go through a change. Maybe a big change! And of course, some people around you will not recognize you anymore. I hope so!
That is why you should take the people who are important and dear to you with you on the journey of change. Give them the chance to join you and give yourself the chance to experience as little resistance as possible.
On the other hand, if you really love someone, wouldn't you wholeheartedly wish them the opportunity to be the best they can be?
Abundance is our birthright.
